What is Driver CPC?

Driver CPC stands for Certificate of Professional Competence. By Law, all bus, coach and lorry drivers must carry a Driver CPC licence. To keep the licence updated, a driver must complete 35 hours of training every 5 years.

Do I Need Driver CPC training?

Anyone who drives a vehicle which is 3.5 tonnes or more has to take 35 hours of Driver CPC training every 5 years. This has been the law since 2009. There are some exemptions of this law, such as personal use (e.g caravans and campervans.)
